BASE CAMP warranties our H8 electric scooter to be free of manufacturing defects for twelve months from the date of purchase, other than with respect to the battery for which we provide a 180 days warranty.
BASE CAMP warranties our helmets to be free of manufacturing defects for twelve months from the date of purchase, SF-999 Smart helmet is covered for a period of 180 days.
The F11 Electric Skateboard
BASE CAMP warranties our F11 electric skateboard to be free of manufacturing defects for 100 days from the date of purchase.
The GHOST Electric Skateboard
BASE CAMP warranties our GHOST electric skateboard to be free of manufacturing defects for 12 months from the date of purchase.
BASE CAMP warranties our accessories to be free of manufacturing defects for 100 days from the date of purchase.
What is NOT covered under the warranty?
(1)Defects or damage resulting from impact, accidents, abuse, misuse, abnormal use (including but not limited to stunt riding, racing, or other similar activities not consistent with the intended use of the products), improper storage, use in contravention of local law, abnormal exposure to liquid, chemical exposure, moisture, abrasives, sand or dirt, neglect, or abnormal physical, electrical or electromechanical stress;
(2)Defects or damage caused by private modification; Scratches, dents, and cosmetic damage, unless caused by BASE CAMP;
(3)Ordinary wear and tear not resulting from defects in workmanship or materials. Wear and tear can be assessed by BASE CAMP. Parts not typically covered include but are not limited to:
(4)The H8 electric scooter frame issues excluded from this warranty include but are not limited to:
Paint fade, scratches, and impact marks
Non-reversible modification (such as drilling or welding)
(5)Defects or damage caused by the use of accessories, products, or ancillary/peripheral equipment not furnished or approved by BASE CAMP for the Products;
(6)Defects or damage caused by the assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment of the Products in a manner that varies from the Assembly Instructions or Owner's Manual;
(7)Defects or damage resulting from external causes such as collision, fire, flooding, windstorms, lightning, earthquakes, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuses, or improper use of any electrical source.
(8)Battery deterioration through standard use.
(9)Charging with a battery charger is not intended or appropriate for use with the Battery;
(10)Using a battery charger improperly;
(11)If any of the seals on the battery are broken or show evidence of tampering;
(12)If the Battery has been used in equipment other than for which it is specified.
(13)F11 electric skateboard that has the serial number removed, defaced, damaged, altered, or made illegible;
(14)BASE CAMP does not offer a warranty regarding the battery life used in the SF-999 Smart helmet. Battery life may vary depending on its configuration and use. BASE CAMP does not guarantee or promise any specific level of performance or battery life associated with the use of its product or any feature in it.
(15)The warranty applies exclusively to the new complete products purchased through basecampboards.com. Used condition or second-hand are not covered under warranty.
Who covers shipping costs?
This warranty does not include resending a new F11 electric skateboard/H8 electric scooter, we only provide a replacement for defective components or parts, and shipping the part(s) to you will be at our expense under warranty. BASE CAMP offers paid repairs for products that are out of warranty or not covered by warranty.
How do I apply for a warranty?

Please make sure to have your order number ready.
BASE CAMP will make the final warranty determination, which may require inspection and/or photos of the equipment, which clearly show the defect(s). Please note that the more information you provide, the better we can serve you.
